The Dragonfly is a tandem wing-canard home-built aircraft that has been duped the sport car of the sky due to its speed, efficiency and high performance. Powered by a Volkswagen engine, it is a fiberglass construction that could be built at reasonable cost and time, and has a fast cruising speed and a low stall speed. The main landing gears here are underneath the canard (MK II design), not at the outboard positions (MK I), nor in the tricycle configuration (MK III).
