Developed the base-band digital signal processing software for synchronous CDMA (SCDMA) and multi-carrier wireless information local loop (McWiLL) wireless communication systems. SCDMA is an uplink-synchronized narrow-band wireless communication system. Due to synchronization of uplinks, SCDMA can effectively mitigate the inter-code interference, a significant drawback of other CDMA systems. McWiLL is a broadband mobile access system. It employs state-of-the-art technologies, including smart antennas and code-spreading orthogonal frequency division multiple access (CS-OFDMA). In comparison with the popular WiMAX system, McWiLL has significantly larger coverage and better conquer of multipath fading.
Skill used: C/C++, Matlab, TI DSPs, ADI DSPs, LSI DSPs, ARM 9, LabView, CDMA, SCDMA, MC-CDMA, OFDM, Smart Antenna, etc.

Jul. 2000 - Aug. 2003, Software Engineer, Datang Software Technologies Co., Ltd
developed the business support systems (BSS) and operational support systems (OSS) for major telecom operators in China, including China Telecom and China Netcom. BSS are the systems that a telephone operator uses to run its business operations towards customer; OSS are a set of programs that provide telecom operators an effective solution to manage, monitor, control, and analyze a telephone network.
Skill used: C/C++, BEA Tuxedo, Visual Basic 6.0, Power Builder 6.5, J2EE, EJB, JSP, Oracle, Sybase, SQL Server, etc.
