EENG - Resources
The Electronics Engineering program is housed in the new Peter Kiewit Institute of Information Science, Technology, & Engineering building located on the Ak-Sar-Ben campus in Omaha. The laboratories have state-of-the-art equipment, particularly in the microcomputer and networking area. Nearly all of the laboratory workstations are interconnected to the College's local area networks, which in turn can communicate with campus, university, regional and national computer networks. students are enrolled in course work offered by the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) for all classes outside the major field. Many of the UNO campus buildings are of recent construction and offer up-to-date classroom facilities. The UNO library and the Durham Science Center are two of such facilities particularly important to Computer Engineering students. Campus computing facilities are excellent and all students may obtain permanent accounts to access the campus information services.
